I’m excited to let you know about a bit of news in the life of Church of the Cross. First of all, I wanted to let you know that Katy Schreur, who had been serving faithfully and skillfully as COTC’s Parish Administrator through the summer, has begun a new job teaching math in the Pflugerville public school system. While I’m sad to see Katy move on (something we always expected) and so enjoyed working with her on behalf of the church, I’m also excited for how God is going to use Katy in this role as she serves her students. This role is so clearly in line with who God has made Katy to be, and I’m excited that she’ll be an extension of COTC’s community there. Thank you, Katy, and we’re for you in this new role!
 
I also wanted to let you know that Keri McDonald started this week as COTC’s new Parish Administrator. Many of you will know Keri as an actively involved member of our community. Keri is a gifted administrator with extensive experience in the non-profit world and is a faithful disciple of Jesus who loves the church. We are blessed to have her and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to work with her.  Welcome, Keri!
 
Please keep Keri and her family in prayer as she transitions into this new role and seeks to serve our community. Please also take a minute to thank Katy for her work on our behalf, and keep her in prayer as a minister of the Gospel in her work as a teacher.
