Hi Church of the Cross Family! 

I (Sarah) am taking over the e-news this week so I can make an exciting announcement… CREATION CARE CAMP IS BACK! 

You might remember that last summer we did a virtual VBS, which was good, but let’s be real… Zoom is the worst so I am pumped that this year we will be able to host an in-person VBS! We are using a new Creation Care Camp curriculum from A Rocha and will be learning how we can care for, share in, and enjoy God’s good creation. Each day we will play games, make crafts, eat a small feast together, and learn practical steps that we can take in our homes to care for the earth. Our memory verse for the week is “The glory of God—let it last forever! Let God enjoy his creation!” (Psalm 104:31). 

We will be meeting the week of June 14th thru June 18th from 8:30am-11:30am at the Parish House. Creation Care Camp is open to kids ages 5 thru 11 (entering kindergarten to entering 5th grade). The cost is $30 for the first child and $20 for siblings and includes a t-shirt for each child registered. We have scholarships available if needed.
