Welcome to registration for COTC's annual Parish Retreat. Our 2024 retreat will be held on Friday, October 18th, and Saturday, October 19th, at our church building. Please take a moment to read the details below and register for the retreat here

Registration fees and info: 

Before 10/1

Adults- $60

Kids- $20 

After 10/1

Adults- $80

Kids- $30

  • Fees cover childcare, programming, snacks, beverages, and 3 meals. 

  • Registering more than three kids? 

  • Enter code MULTIPLE for a discount. 

  • Due to space constraints, we cannot accommodate walk-ins the day of the retreat. 

**Registration closes at 11 pm on 10/7**

Schedule and content:

Friday 10/18 Arrive 5:5-30; programming ends at 8:15 pm

Join us on Friday night for a shared meal and activities! All ages are welcome. No childcare will be provided.

Saturday 10/19 Arrive 8:8-30; programming ends at 1 pm

All-day children's programming will be provided for kids 5th grade and under. Children older than 5th grade will participate in some of the sessions, and there will also be youth activities. 

During our time together on Saturday, we’ll engage with Scripture together under the direction of Lindsey Olseberg (see bio below).

Speaker bio:

We're excited for this year's speaker, H. Lindsey is a Bible teacher and Scripture Engagement leader with more than 35 years of ministry experience. She has provided Scripture Engagement leadership for numerous Urbana Missions Conferences, Cape Town 2010 (Lausanne’s Third Global Congress), and Lausanne’s Younger Leaders Generation. Lindsay is the author of The Bible Study Handbook: A Comprehensive Guide to an Essential Practice (IVP) and Ephesians: Studying with the Global Church (Hendrickson). She serves as chair of Wycliffe USA’s board of directors and as a member of the board for Revive Europe and Servant Partners. Lindsay holds degrees from Pomona College (B.A. Asian Studies) and Fuller Theological Seminary (M.A. Theology). She and her husband Jon, a physicist working in the biotech industry, moved to Austin this fall. They have two adult children.
