Weekly News 12.6.24
Hi COTC,
This past Sunday was such a beautiful entry into Advent. We look forward to the next three Sundays as we continue to press on the theme of longing.
A few of important notes for THIS SUNDAY:
Brooklynd’s Coffee
For a fun treat This Sunday, we’ll have espresso drinks and iced tea from Brooklynd’s, and COTC is covering the cost. Beverages will be available on the back patio from 10-11:30. If you normally attend the 11 am service, we encourage you to arrive around 10 am to allow enough time to get a drink before the 9 am service ends. For those of you who attend the 10 am, head out to the patio after service for your drink. We’ll have hot chocolate for the kids as well. A fun note, Brooklynd’s is a small business that has taken part in the work of Kingdom Capital Network. A nonprofit started by one of our parishioners that meets in the COTC building on Mondays.
In short:
11am attendees come early around 10 am
10am attendees, head to the patio for beverages after service
Volunteer Gifts
A reminder that we also have volunteer gifts for those of you who serve at COTC in any way. The gifts will be on a table in the back of the room on the same side as the band. Be sure to grab one on 12/8 or 12/15, and thank you for serving. These gifts are a small token of our appreciation.
A Visit from St Nicholas
Today is the Feast of St Nicholas. In recognition of this feast day, St. Nicholas will make a stop at COTC on Sunday to visit with our kids. He’ll be on the patio between services and will have a small treat for the kids.
We’re thankful for y’all and can’t wait to worship with you on Sunday,
The COTC Staff Team
