Hi y’all,

As you scroll through this week’s enews, you’ll notice we have some fun Advent events coming up at the end of November. We also included information on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services. We hope having this information now allows you to plan ahead, and we can’t wait to celebrate Advent and Christmastide with y’all.

The staff team spent some time reflecting this week on the parish retreat. Our prayer going into the weekend was for connecting with each other and the Lord, and this felt so true of our experiences and what we’ve heard from y’all. Thanks be to God! A few things of note that came to mind for our staff team were:

• Our youth participating in the inductive study, and the now annual tradition of the youth “Slurpee crawl.”

• Time spent slowing down and learning from Scripture together.

• Our property provided a sweet space for fun and studying the Word.

• Friday night was FUN and hilarious!

• The kids got really into the raffle for the “house” and “car.”

• Meaningful feedback from our parishioners about what they enjoyed and ways in which the Lord was present to them.
