Hi COTC,

This Sunday is our annual service of Lament. As followers of Jesus, we believe that the practice of lament is an important part of our formation, and there is something powerful about intentionally setting time aside for lament as a gathered community. Following the sermon, we will leave space for reflection with quiet music and images to engage our senses as we enter into a time of offering up written laments to the Lord. We will give more specific instructions during the service, but as we move toward Sunday, we encourage you to set some time aside to consider what grief in your own life or the world around us that you might bring offer to Jesus.
