Hi COTC,

As we head toward Thanksgiving and then into the season of Advent, we are praying that there is space for rest and reflection for each of you over the next week. A reminder that the COTC offices are closed the week of Thanksgiving, 11/25-11/29, and the staff team will not be checking email. We can’t wait to see many of you on the morning of 11/30 for the Advent Wreath Extravaganza and decorating the church building. Be sure to check out all the Advent happenings and service dates and times below.

This Sunday is Christ the King Sunday, the last Sunday in the liturgical year and a day celebrating Jesus’ Kingship over everything. We look forward to worshipping with y’all on the 24th.

A Collect for Christ the King Sunday

Almighty and everlasting God, whose will it is to restore all things in your well-beloved Son, the King of kings and Lord of lords: Mercifully grant that the peoples of the earth, divided and enslaved by sin, may be freed and brought together under his most gracious rule; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
